On November 18, Gooiland Hilversum will open its doors for the Topsector Energy ENERGY TALKS. This free annual work conference is the moment for energy professionals to meet and inspire each other. You can choose from 22 interactive TALKS. Hydrogen will be discussed, among other things.
Think of sessions on energy justice, grid congestion and energy hubs. There are speakers on themes such as hydrogen, nuclear energy and a sustainable and future-proof industry. During this event, important insights are gathered, which are fed back to the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth

This event will start with a keynote by Diederik Samsom. He has been chairman of the supervisory board of Gasunie since 1 July 2024 and is committed to hydrogen projects, among other things. From 2019 to 2024 he was chief of staff of European Commissioner Frans Timmermans and his successor Wopke Hoekstra, who were responsible for the Green Deal. He then contributed to the recent Draghi report on the future of European competitiveness.
During this event, Samsom will explain the link between the conclusions of that report and our (energy) innovation policy. How does green growth fit into a powerful, but also clean Europe, in which clean energy is fair and affordable?

In between there is sufficient time for exchange, networking and catching up with an expected more than 400 participants. Each TALK produces a question or call. These are taken into consideration for advice to the ministry.
