With more than 60 gas stations, Avia Marees is in the middle of the energy transition. The North Holland family business previously invested in fast chargers for electric driving and also offers alternative fuels for the b2b market. In addition, Avia Marees has also offered the option of supplying vehicles with hydrogen at the pump since 2021.

At the Kolhorn location, Avia Marees has installed a so-called 'slow-fill installation', supplied by Resato International. Motorists can fill up their hydrogen car here. The family business itself is setting a good example by taking to the road with its own hydrogen car. Avia Marees initially wants to gain experience with the filling point. The hydrogen filling station is supplied with bottle racks of gas bottles. If demand increases, a connection with the Hygro hydrogen mill in Wieringermeer will be possible in the long term.
