Do you work in the offshore wind industry and would you like to stay informed about the latest developments in the South of France in the field of floating wind farms? Then RVO cordially invites you to participate in the 'Floating Offshore Wind' innovation mission.
The Occitanie region in the South of France is where most of the developments in the field of floating wind farms are taking place. Two pre-commercial parks will be built in the coming years and a commercial project with a capacity of 250 megawatts in 2030. Port-la-Nouvelle is being developed as a special port for floating wind farms.
The mission is aimed primarily at R&D managers, business development managers, CTOs and CEOs of interested companies (start-ups/scale-ups, SMEs and large companies) that are active in the floating wind industry and knowledge institutions that are working on, or involved in, the development of innovative technologies for floating wind farms. The mission is small-scale, with a maximum of 20 participants. The organization will assess in advance to what extent your expertise matches the substantive focus and the objective of the mission.
