During this session, the National Hydrogen Program will discuss subsidies and obligations for the production, import and use of hydrogen in industry.
At the end of October, ministers Rob Jetten and Micky Adriaansens sent a letter about the instruments for renewable hydrogen to the House of Representatives. In line with this, the National Hydrogen Programme is organising a knowledge session in which speakers will delve deeper into this letter.
As previously announced, the government is working on various instruments to scale up renewable hydrogen towards 2030. This session will focus on subsidies and obligations for production, import and use of hydrogen in industry. The results of consultation sessions and two external studies commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy will also be shared.
