This project focuses on the experimental development of an innovative hydrogen liquefaction unit on a lab scale. The goal is to efficiently and affordably produce liquid hydrogen with a capacity of 3-10 kg per day, contributing to decentralized applications in research and mobility.
The technology is being developed in collaboration with Cryoworld, Pro Control and NLR, and will be tested and demonstrated under realistic conditions. The innovation responds to the challenges of current high-pressure hydrogen storage and paves the way to more efficient and sustainable energy solutions. In addition to technological progress, the project stimulates knowledge development, economic growth, and international profiling of the North Holland North region.
