North Holland North is accelerating its ambitions to become climate neutral. Hydrogen will play an important role. The production of hydrogen on land is being started and the first users are taking to the road. From 2030, the region will play an important role in the substantial supply of hydrogen to Den Helder from the North Sea.
To further stimulate cooperation in the region, WaterstofNHN was set up. WaterstofNHN is the platform for everyone involved in hydrogen in North Holland North. The platform brings together companies, organisations, knowledge institutions and governments physically and online. By exchanging knowledge and establishing connections between the right parties, we ensure a faster transition to a hydrogen economy together.
