In collaboration with the NWP theme group Import, TNO is organizing two in-depth discussions on this theme. For this, they would like to invite parties that are themselves intensively involved with this subject.
What are the costs involved in the import of hydrogen? There are currently several studies that provide an answer to this question. Each of these studies is based on its own assumptions, which makes it difficult to arrive at a broadly supported cost and emission analysis. TNO recently built a model in which the import routes can be compared, the Hydrogen Supply Chain Model. They want to use this model 'open access', in order to reach consensus on calculations around hydrogen supply chains between stakeholders.
In collaboration with the theme group Import of the National Hydrogen Program (NWP), TNO organizes two in-depth discussions on this theme. For this they invite parties that are themselves intensively involved with this subject. The aim of the discussions is to discuss everyone's view on both logic and input assumptions using the TNO model. This is the first step towards an open access model, to which various stakeholders contribute and which they can also use themselves to perform analyses. Participating parties do not have to share their own models, but openness about outcomes and orders of magnitude does contribute to a useful discussion.
