H2Net 'Port of Den Helder'

In concrete terms, this concerns a connection between the Kooijhaven (Zephyros), inside- (Shore power) and outer harbour (LH2 Bunker Station) and the Marine Complex. In the long term, a branch from the local H2Net to the international H2Gateway project. 

With an expected strong increase in demand for hydrogen for shipping, this will lead to an increasing number of transport movements in the urban agglomeration if policy remains unchanged. Distribution of hydrogen by pipeline is cheaper, more efficient and cleaner than transport by tanker.
